Battling Vitiligo, Raising Her Son Alone, and Leading by Example – The Inspiring Story of Rajni Ganesh Gaikwad

Single-handedly raising her 11-year-old son, being the sole breadwinner for her family, and an unwavering team player, Rajni Ganesh Gaikwad exemplifies the resilience and determination of exceptional individuals from Bharat.

Hailing from Darambre, she arrives at work every morning at 8:15 AM, diligently gearing up with her safety apron, ESD belt, and protective equipment before beginning her tasks. She plays a crucial role in assembling displays, affixing stickers and QR codes, soldering, engraving, and more—working alongside her teammates.

When asked if she finds her job demanding, she responds, “The previous organisation I was in was extremely hectic—we had to test over 50 chargers an hour, and failure to meet the quota led to penalties. Here at EMotorad, we have ownership over our work, supportive managers, and the flexibility to request help when needed. I love that we start and finish on time, allowing me to spend the evenings with my son—helping him study, playing, and cooking dinner together.”

Having faced immense challenges in life, Rajni firmly believes in staying positive. “We have one life and it’s too short to be unhappy. My priority is giving 100% for my son—his education and the opportunities he deserves. He inspires my passion for both work and life, and I am incredibly grateful for the opportunities that allow me to provide him with these things.”

Having studied up to SYBA, it is her dream to complete her TYBA in psychology—a journey she had to pause for marriage. We sincerely hope she gets the chance to fulfil this aspiration.
