Farming by Day, Cruising by Dusk
Five years ago, in the heart of Rajasthan, Ajay Meena had a thought - why couldn’t a bicycle have a battery? He wasn’t an engineer, he was a farmer full of curiosity. And it found a way of turning into action.
From Experimentation to Obsession
It started with small experiments. He tried fitting a motor onto a regular bicycle, attempting to build his own e-cycle before they were widely available. The results weren’t perfect, but they sparked something bigger. A fascination with electric cycles.
He began buying pre-built e-bikes, testing different models, comparing features, and figuring out what worked. Some were disappointments. Others showed promise. But none felt quite right.
Then came EMotorad. Unlike the e-cycles he had tried before, these were designed for real-world conditions. Sturdy, efficient, and built for riders like him. That changed everything.
A Love for Innovation, Rooted in the Fields
As a farmer in Bharatpur, Ajay has always relied on two-wheelers. They are essential for getting around, whether travelling between fields or making quick trips into town. Cycling was already part of his daily life, but e-bikes opened up new possibilities. They made travel easier, faster, and less dependent on fuel.
His collection grew. Today, he owns more than 7 EMotorad e-cycles, from EMX to T-Rex Pro. Each one marks a step forward, not just in his personal journey but in how electric mobility shapes rural India.
When asked what’s with the love for mobility, he says it’s not just e-cycles; he loves collecting cars, bikes, and even tractors. He even convinced his closest friend to start an offline store that sells EMotorad e-cycles so he could get his hands on it first!
The Best Ride is Always the Next One
Even now, he is always looking ahead. Every new model excites him. Not just for its features but for what it represents. Progress. He knows what makes a great ride. He has opinions on performance, durability, and design. For him, cycling isn’t just about getting from one place to another. It is about the experience, the machine, and the freedom that comes with it.
At EMotorad, we are proud to be part of Ajay’s journey. His story is a reminder that innovation does not just belong to cities. It is found wherever people are willing to try something new.
