Inspired by South Korea's innovative solar panel bike highway, "Healthway" has been thoughtfully adapted to suit the vibrant landscape of our Indian cities. What sets this track apart is its robust construction, boasting a resilient six-layer acrylic polyurethane coating that makes it weatherproof, waterproof, and oil-resistant – ensuring it stands the test of time.

Hyderabad spared no effort and has invested a whopping 100 crores in this project to prioritize rider safety and environmental sustainability. The Healthway track is adorned with an impressive array of 30,000 16MW solar panels, not only illuminating your path but also contributing surplus power to the grid. 

DEVELOPMENT OF 400 KM OF DEDICATED CYCLING LANES IN 41 CITIES

According to TOI reports, 41 cities are making strides in promoting cycling, identifying 400 km of main roads and 3500 km in local neighborhoods for dedicated cycling lanes. In Jabalpur, officials are pedaling to work once a week as part of the Cycle2Work campaign, while Rajkot's municipal authority has not only distributed cycles to employees but also rewarded their efforts. Inspired by these initiatives, businesses in other cities are joining the Cycle2Work movement, offering incentives to employees. Cities like Bhubaneswar, Surat,

Kochi, and Greater Warangal are experimenting with traffic cones, bollards, and paints for cycling interventions. Aurangabad is creatively using reused tires as planters to separate cycle lanes from motor traffic. Vadodara and Gurugram are enhancing intersection safety with colorful crosswalks, and Chandigarh has installed cycle signals to prioritize cyclists at junctions.
