E-Cyclothon’s MovEMents 2024 Revealed
E-Cyclothon’s Bengaluru Mov'EM'ents 2024
Building EMotorad has been a hell of a journey! Anyone who knows us can vouch for the lessons we learned, obstacles we faced while exploring new territories, built bigger families, and in many ways just grew together. One such baby has been our very first E-Cyclothon at Bengaluru, where we aimed to bring the city’s electric cycle enthusiasts together for the first time.
Our debut event was thrilling—marking a monumental success, overcoming hurdles, learning lessons, late-night hustles, and even some frustrations. So here we are today: a little wiser, a little grayer, with our hearts full, and plenty grateful for the memories we created. We walked down memory lane to pick our favourite moments from us to you - the rider.
As the gates opened at dawn, our team was marking the grounds, posters being set up, refreshments lined, service experts greasing their toolkits, and most importantly we waited with bated breath to welcome you to our world. We saw 250+ enthusiastic riders burst in with the energy of 5-year-olds! Charged with excitement, we bustled through the morning exploring the scenic routes of our very own Bengaluru.
Starting at St. Joseph’s College, our enthu-cutlets pedalled like Sanjay from Jo Jeeta Wohi Sikander, cutting through time and speed! Our riders seamlessly switched gears, and leveraged pedal assist to go full throttle - what a sight.🚴♀️The finish line left riders wanting more and the team with moist eyes as we had officially completed our first massive event.
From operations to events, we took home beautiful memories and pointers to work even harder at the next E-Cyclothon. We were thrilled to see our rental electric cycles get wiped out as registrations started pouring in. Whilst we anticipated the demand, we surely underestimated it and vow to triple our inventory for you next time! Our service teams had their hands and hearts full catering to everyone. Cyclists were eager to avail of our servicing, and to address this issue, we will invest even more time in building our knowledge base and product knowledge.
A very special thank you to the Bengaluru Police force that supported us throughout and N.A. Harris, MLA who believed in our cause and rode the green wave on our very own electric cycles. Not only did he officiate the ceremony, but extended his support to our brand that adds ‘movements of fun’ and ‘innovation’ into the lives of every human being, and planet.
Will this happen again? And where? Yes. In Delhi, Mumbai, and Pune.
When? Very soon. Stay tuned. 😉
While we cannot spell EMotorad without ‘U’...ok, well…we technically can, but YOU the rider make us want to work harder, dream bigger, and unashamedly love our work. 💟
